Meet The Team

Jack Lamburn

Founder and Design Director

Founder and design director Jack Lamburn decided to join his passions for great design and adventure travel into one project, Twin Coast.

Jack, after graduating with a degree in Transportation Design, has spent over a decade working as an industrial designer for renowned international design agencies and clients. His most notable work is with aviation interiors, in particular his design for the award winning Singapore Airlines Business Class Seat and Cabin. Other clients included Ford, Google, Timberland and American Airlines.

He built his first campervan when he was 21, road tripping it across Europe. His passion for functional, unique and inspiring small spaces has led him to designing and building campervans.

“Every camper conversion design by Twin Coast so far has been different and truly bespoke. For my customers, I want to provide them with a conversion that is totally unique to their lifestyles and tastes.”

Twin Coast takes great care in every detail, listening to the clients needs so that it functions just right. Jack understands from his own experiences how good design can make a huge difference.

Jack’s other interests in all things outdoors, including mountain biking, surfing and hiking, help him create solutions to problems with real world experience.

“Problem solving is a key part of any good design and to make those design solutions a joy to use you have to be highly creative. Things that look simple usually have the most thinking behind them, function is one thing but you also have to make it aesthetically pleasing to people… that’s the real challenge.”

Paul

Workshop Manager/Master Craftsman

A man with glasses, a beard, and long hair, wearing a plaid shirt and beige apron, is using a table saw to cut a piece of wood in a woodworking shop.

With over 30 years of workshop experience, Paul is the heart and soul of our builds. An outstanding craftsman, he brings unmatched skill, precision, and attention to detail to every campervan conversion. From the smallest finishing touches to the structural backbone of each build. A vanlifer himself, he knows firsthand what makes a campervan practical. Paul ensures every van is built to the highest standard — durable, functional, and beautiful.

Whether it’s custom joinery, clever storage solutions, or perfecting every surface, Paul’s craftsmanship is what transforms our designs into homes on wheels. His passion for quality and commitment to excellence is reflected in every van that leaves our workshop.

“I take pride in making each conversion something you’ll love to live in — built to last and ready for life on the road.”

Dan brings boundless energy and enthusiasm to every build. A wizard with electrics and a master of all things campervan, there’s nothing he can’t tackle — from wiring complex systems to building clever storage solutions.

With a background in bespoke kitchens, Dan combines precision, creativity, and practicality, ensuring every van is as functional as it is beautiful.

A keen wild camper and Dartmoor explorer, he’s always chasing new surf spots and adventure, which gives him a real understanding of how campervans are used in the wild.

“I love making vans that work for real life — wherever your adventures take you.”

Jura isn’t just a workshop dog — she’s our resident morale booster and all-around legend. Whether she’s keeping the team on their toes, providing cuddles, or keeping on top of recycling by ripping cardboard, Jura ensures every day in the workshop has a little extra joy.

Loyal, curious, and always ready for an adventure, she loves van life just as much as we do. Every campervan that leaves our workshop gets a silent stamp of approval from Jura herself.
